Nellis Holdings, LLC · Erie, Pennsylvania
We Acquire and Operate Privately Owned Businesses for the Long Term
Nellis Holdings acquires established businesses from owners who care what happens next, and takes an active role in operating them. We acquire to operate and strengthen these businesses over the long term, rather than for rapid resale.
Why Owners Talk to Us
Operating Experience Behind the Offer
Owner-Operator
Nellis Holdings intends to take an active ownership role in the businesses it acquires. Sellers work directly with Jeff, the principal decision-maker, from the initial conversation through evaluation, closing, and transition. Jeff remains personally involved while coordinating with lenders, advisors, and transaction partners when appropriate.
Multi-State Leadership
Jeff has led teams and operations across multiple states, in the field and at the executive level.
Turnaround Experience
Jeff has helped lead distressed and underperforming operations through stabilization, restructuring, and improved financial performance.
Long-Term Ownership
We acquire established businesses to operate and strengthen over the long term, rather than for rapid resale or short-term financial engineering.

Our Philosophy
A Different Kind of Buyer
Nellis Holdings is a privately held acquisition and operating company led by an experienced operator rather than a passive investment fund or an intermediary. Jeff Hollenbeck completed his first business acquisition at age 20 and has spent his career building, improving, and leading complex operating businesses.
That background shapes what we pay attention to: who answers the phone, how customers are treated, and whether the people who built the business are still proud of it a year after closing.
When Nellis Holdings acquires a business, the intent is to own and operate it for the long term.

How We Work
Our Approach
01
A Private Conversation
An introductory conversation with no pressure and no obligation, so we can understand what you have built and what you want next.
02
A Careful Look
We take time to learn the business: the people, the numbers, the customers, and what makes it work.
03
A Transition Built Around You
The timeline, the structure, and your role after closing are all shaped by what you want, not a template.
Ownership
Long-Term Ownership
Nellis Holdings acquires businesses with a long-term ownership mindset. The objective is to operate, strengthen, and grow established companies over time while preserving the relationships, reputation, and operating foundation built by prior ownership.
We do not pursue acquisitions primarily for rapid resale or short-term financial engineering.
Transactions may use an appropriate combination of Nellis Holdings equity, responsible bank or SBA financing, seller financing, and outside equity partners when appropriate.
No single financing method is promised for every acquisition. The final structure depends on the specific business, valuation, cash flow, management depth, financing availability, and the seller’s objectives.
For Owners
You Built More Than a Business
An established company is never just a number on a page. It is the employees who count on it, the customers who trust it, and a reputation earned over many years.
Selling is a personal decision, and we treat it that way. We listen first, move at a deliberate pace, and respect what you have built.
Advisory
Advisory & Litigation Support
Nellis Holdings also provides select operational consulting, fractional COO and interim leadership, and transportation litigation support based on Jeff Hollenbeck’s hands-on and executive operating experience.
